The cost of office parties almost always comes out of the employees pockets. It promotes a positive work environment and improves team synergy. Since most people spend a substantial amount of their lives at work, they should be allowed a few perks. Maybe you should make it fun by incorporating it into the entire company with contests for the best decorations or cook offs You definately need to take a step back.
