Fortune Salutes Gen Y

Fortune takes aim at Gen Y and profiles more than 40 twenty-somethings (most of them early twenty-somethings) who have very, ahem, grown-up jobs. It's heartening to see a little positive media coverage for what seems to be the favorite whipping boy generation these days. Check it out. It's inspiring, even to a fellow twenty-something!

To bad that Fortune chose to interview only a few companies. They have 6 people from Chevron on this list! I get the impression that Fortune was lazy and that they just asked a few companies for a list of new recruits and then profiled all of the people on the lists.

That's nice and all, but I'd love to see that list from 10 years ago, and where they are now.

Just so i get this right. These young people are working for some of the fortune 500 companies?

None the less that is still an achievement.

I have never been prouder of being part of the gen y's.

I seriously think that we have some major ass to kick and a huge reputation to live up to.

After all we have big shoes to follow in .. my parents were freaken baby boomers =)
